Ways to customize Joomla to sell most anything. To make money with your website, you need Ads of one form or another. They range from Google Adsense to affiliate ads to your own product ads. There are many modules for Joomla that make it realitively easy to add advertisments to your site.

Get as many affiliate registrations as possible. It is sometimes hard to get approved if your site is new and has little traffic. But get more than you might use because you need to always place the best ads on your site.

Google proivdes Adsense text and image ads that work very well for a new site. Yahoo provides something similar. Joomla has a Google Adsense module that will place Google ads in your sidebars with very little trouble. Just inseart your ID code from Google and the ads will appear.

With these plugins, you can customize the site in many ways. Some modules work better than others. It pays to read the reviews and take everything with a grain of salt. Try them and see how they work.
