A good foundation course of study for someone starting out. This product looked good on one review site but I'm afraid it did not impress me in the same way. I bought the package and was immediately given access to the site. They have a clear blue print for the learning path. You can go back to the site and read any part at a later date.

I read through it in one night. Every document. It would take a week of hard work to learn it all for the first time. There are several good aspects to the whole package, but it is a beginner package and nothing in there is going to make certain you are profitable. If you are starting out, it would be valuable. But if you have been working for six to twelve months on your own, you probably know 98 percent of the material already. It's not a program, it's a compilation of many different ebooks, not the best ones by any means, and somewhat older than I expected. One was from 2003. I saw a few errors, but nothing that would cripple you. For example, one document says Google does not allow you to link directly to a vendor site. I know from experience you can link directly without a problem. It's just not the best situation because Google will not show two ads on the same page that link to the same site.

The site is well done. I liked the section on picking keywords and writing ads. They put significant effort into organization and presentation. But I'll say again, it is not a hold-your-hand program that will make you money, it's a general education of the basics that may or may not equip you to make money. Personally, I don't think it is good enough to save anyone from a desperate situation in a short amount of time. That is the dream they are selling.

The other review site for this program said the reviewer had made $2300 over the last 5 days due to this ssSecrets program. But he also said he had been in this field for two years. It's deceptive to say this program made the money because the reviewer already knows everything in that program so it is a spin to say it allowed him to make outrageous money in the last 5 days. There is nothing unique in this program that an experienced marketer would not know. So, you better be careful what reveiw sites say about these types of programs. Most likely they are spinning it to make a sale.

These are what I see as the important points on the ssSecrets package.

PRO:
  • Web site well organized and easy to use.
  • Money back guarantee.
  • General foundation that everyone needs.
  • Multiple sources of information.
  • Nice list of affiliate programs.
  • Good discussion on choosing keywords, writing ads.
  • No other costs. No free website that changes to a fee later.
CONS:
  • Multiple sources of information - no central source of "info".
  • Money back guarantee had fuzzy language that gives them an out.
  • Some material is older than expected.
  • Much material is too basic to be of value.
  • The included $250 worth of credits don't appear to be real money. I think they defray setup costs at best. Of no value if you already have an account. Four credits apply to smaller services that are not well known.
  • Only of value to a novice just getting into the field and willing to learn.
  • Technical support only allows one ticket to be open at a time. Your ability to ask for support is then dependent on their end.
In conclusion, you should not waste your money on ssSecrets because it contains very few things you could consider secrets. Most of the information is available elsewhere - not those particular documents, but the content itself since it is general information that is contained in every ebook that tries to bring a novice from zero up to talking speed on Adwords.
